Great idea but not well executed. : Bestop 51798-35 Black Diamond Front Door - 2 Piece : front door
Ok, first of all these doors work. They are perfect to take with you when you need backup rain protection. During a heavy rain, I got only mild misting inside the jeep, even at highway speeds. However, there are some fairly significant design issues. At highway speeds, the door pulls away from the jeep at the top. I know a soft door isn't gong to perform like a hard door, but this problem would have been fairly easy to address at the design stage. If it had a loop that you could bungee to, it would be easy to work around the problem. If I had it to do over, I would probably buy these doors because they serve their purpose as a backup plan. However, it should be fairly simple to address this problem.
We have the 2010 Wrangler with full hard doors and we enjoy taking them off for weekend trips. It is my wife's primary vehicle, and she wanted the full windows, which are on there except when we want to go "jeeping." If Bestop would do a little work, they could have a tremendous product here.
